Today, the news on Blizzard job opportunities page excited many MMO fans, ( or more accurately, Diablo and World of Warcraft fans.) The opportunities mention that the teams behind "Diablo I" and "Diablo II" are looking for some new blood.

"The team behind Diablo I and II is looking for a skilled lead 3D level designer with experience building levels using Maya or other similar 3D level building tools. The ideal candidate has experience creating levels in a senior or lead role on a shipped game. We would also like for this candidate to have excellent analytical understanding of competitive online play with various Blizzard Entertainment games and mods (real-time strategy, World of Warcraft, Defense of the Ancients, etc.). The lead level designer needs to be able to create fun and interesting environments that look and play great while managing and mentoring a team of additional level designers. Skills in scripting or general 3D modeling/texturing are preferred." posted by Blizzard.

What could all this mean? as we know, Blizzard's next project is labeled "Top Secret", so far there have been no official announcements regarding this new MMORPG from Blizzard, we only have to expect more information to surface in the future. Till now, a "Diablo III" game has long been rumored, we all knew that this was going to happen sooner or later, and in the traditional sense, the console action RPG series will go MMO with the enhanced online support. (like Hellgate London and Guild Wars ). So... What is this "job opportunities" hinting at? Will Blizzard develop a "World of Diablo"? It will be highly appreciated. lol.
