With all the games that the franchise Dragon Ball has spawned in various
platforms in years past, it's only fitting that the series get an MMORPG of its
own in the form of Dragon Ball Online.
Fortunately, Namco Bandai has more than just screenshots for you this time,
as a couple of new videos have been made available to the viewing public. The
first Dragon Ball Online video gives us a glimpse into the game's user
interface.

Online Finally Announced!
Players will get to see how interaction with various NPCs and in-game combat
are actually like. Namco Bandai's second video takes a closer look at a day in
the lives of our in-game heroes.
Of particular interest to note is the fact they seemed to travel back in time
to pay Dragon Ball protagonist Son Goku a visit during his first battle with
Vegeta in the Saiyan saga.
While marriage isn't exactly a new feature for an MMORPG, Namco Bandai has
reportedly put a new spin on it with the "alternation of generations" feature.
Simply put, this allows characters to vicariously continue their adventures via
their offspring a la Phantasy Star 3.
The only difference is that purportedly the only way for players to acquire
new abilities. Oh, and in case you're wondering, the third playable class is
that of a Majin, reminiscent of the fat and super selves of Buu.
And while Dragon Ball Online characters are quite capable of fighting bare
handed, weapons also appear to be available in the game. On that note, we leave
you with these two videos, as promised. Stay tuned for more updates on this game
as we get them!
