The website of QJ revealed that Square Enix currently developing a new MMORPG.

In a previous article we posted before, we mentioned that Taku Murata, head of research and development of Square Enix, will be be a speaker at the GDC 2008. He#DY#s going to talk about the details regarding the technology behind Final Fantasy.

We decided to snoop around for more information regarding his presentation. Boy oh boy, we got some juicy information. We found a particular line that got us all excited. it went, "The new game engine will be used for Final Fantasy XIII, a new MMORPG under development, and other titles in the future."

It says there that the company is currently developing a new MMORPG. Aside from the success that their first MMO, Final Fantasy XI (Xbox 360, PC), has achieved, it seems that they want to do more in the MMO scene.
