5. Warhammer Online
Developer: EA Mythic
Publisher: EA Mythic
ETA: Spring (50%)
Company Line: War is everywhere in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning (WAR), the new MMORPG from the creators of Dark Age of Camelot. Based on Games Workshop's popular Warhammer fantasy war game, WAR features next generation Realm vs. Realm (RvR) game play that will immerse players in a world of perpetual conflict.
Bottom Line: As a long-time Dark Age of Camelot player, I get a little miffed when I look at a lot of Warhammer Online's features. Originally, most of the cool stuff that makes WAR so exciting was proposed to be included in DAoC via expansion packs and free addons. Moving on, I really wouldn't mind playing Dark Age of Camelot in Warhammer Online. Maybe Mythic can save me some time grinding and just transfer my Camelot players over. MJ! Put down the banhammer! I was just joking!
