Some of the powerful armor, weapons and accessories can be acquired by forging several items together through a non-playable character (NPC) in the home castle. The performance of the armor, weapon or accessory can also be improved further by combining it with small objects called Smelting Stones.

In addition, each character has its specific Growth Item that can be acquired by defeating bosses or powerful monsters. Just like its owner, its abilities improve with more experience it gains.

Cronous features powerful 3D graphic imagery and is optimized for at least a Celeron 500 processor, 256 MB Ram and a 16 MB 3D graphics card. Thus even with low specs or dated computers, Cronous battles are lively and smooth in transition. Players can look forward to level growth opportunities when quest bosses reveal themselves and additional character skills are introduced deeper into the game.
