There's been a long running question as to the limit of gold a player can have in the popular MMORPG, World of Warcraft. A German player, who wishes to remain anonymous has reached that very limit, complete with a complaint to a GM, who confirms the limit.

Apparently that amount is 214,748 gold, 36 silver, 48 copper. After you reach that lofty sum, you'll no longer be able to receive money from any source in the game.
