Aion is one of NCsoft's next big MMO releases, and it certainly looks good, if nothing else. Powered by Crytek's CryEngine, the game incorporates a distinct look that appears both rendered by computers and hand drawn. If NCsoft can deliver on gameplay the same way that it has apparently nailed the graphics, Aion could be a hit.

David Jones is the creator of Grand Theft Auto, so he knows a thing or two about being a videogame bad guy. With last year's Crackdown, his studio, Realtime Worlds delivered a highly enjoyable take on the sandbox genre, this time from the perspective of a super agent charged with taking out the bad guys. APB will finally marry the good and the bad in an MMO format. A turf war between cops and gangs has erupted, and players can choose either side. Could this be the "Grand Theft MMO" that we've been waiting for?
