Leipziger Messe today announced the details to this year#DY#s Games Convention (GC). There will be a total of 35,000 square meters available to exhibitors, up from 30,000 in 2006. Work is already underway to make the routes between the various halls easier to access by the time GC occurs.
"Visitor numbers at the GC have risen steadily over recent years," explains GC project director Peggy Schonbeck. "There were already more than 185,000 in 2007. Added to this is the length of time people stay in the halls. In order to ensure the many gaming fans can still be relaxed in the halls in future, we have decided to construct an additional walkway."
GC will take place at the Leipzig Exhibition Center from August 21 to 24.
