South Korean game developer announced that closed Beta 3 testing ends today for Pi Story, their 2D side scrolling anime MMO. The beta ran from December 28th to January 3rd, 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. PST. Servers are now closed, and will reopen soon for another round of beta testing.
This closed beta was released to test the preliminary guild system, upgraded fighting system, and Pi Story's unique Housing System. In a statement released by the developers, NCONY stated that "now that the foundations of our new systems have been tested, the next version will have even more contents under a stable service platform." The company expects to run one or two more closed beta tests before releasing the open beta version in 2008.
For now, Pi Story developers will focus on streamlining and adjusting the game system based on user feedbacks and test results. The next version's testing date will be announced on the website at http://www.pistory.com
