In HighStreet 5, you will meet players from all over the world in large 30-person dance halls and dance your heart out together with them! Dance along to the latest pop songs and show off your perfect technique and smooth grooves in the four different dance modes: Single, Couple, Lovers and Fight, in HighStreet 5 that make your experience all the more special!

Single Mode:
The Single dance mode is the basic dance mode in HighStreet 5, and you can choose to dance using Common Steps, Song Steps, Common Steps for 8 Keys, Song Steps for 8 Keys and Free Steps. All of them differ in their dance style, control and rewarded points.

Common Steps uses the four directional keys for control, and the dance moves that your character can perform are the ones that you have already mastered. Song Steps also uses four directional keys for control but the character's dance moves are decided by the style of song that is being played, and all of the players in the dance hall using Song Steps will dance out the same moves. The 8 Keys mode for both Common Steps and Song Steps result in the same dance moves but utilize the numeric keypad for dance controls. The 8 keys of the keypad 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9 stand for the eight directional arrows during a dance sequence. The Free Steps mode is best suited for experts and uses only the four directional keys but the dance sequence itself will be decided on the spot by the player's creativity and technique, allowing for great freedom and expression of dance.

Battle Mode:
If you chance upon a similarly skilled player in a dance hall, you can challenge him in a dance battle using the Battle mode in HighStreet 5! The winner will reap the applause and attention of the dance hall!

You can choose any other player in the dance hall to engage in Battle Mode. Click on the player and then the "Battle" button on the top right corner of the game screen to invite the player into a dance battle. If the player accepts the challenge, a "VS" image will appear under both players' legs to announce the beginning of the battle.

The controls, rules and point accumulation for Battle mode is exactly the same as that for Single mode. You will need to consider that if both players have similar skill, the primary factors for victory will hinge on managing stamina, using special items and also pulling out explosive Stunts at the appropriate time to edge out your opponent.

Talk is cheap for claims of superiority, and in HighStreet 5 that is solved with dance battles. Challenge other players to reign as the best dancer in HighStreet 5!
