Zhengtu Online, one of famous mmo in China, has some troubles recently.
According to Interfax China, a lawsuit filed by Giant Interactive Group Inc, the owner of Zhengtu Online, against a former employee for leaking and illegally selling part of Zhengtu Online's original code opened in Shanghai Xuhui District People's Court.
As the economic value of games grow, code theft and code compromise cases have been on the rise. Early from arrests have been made in connection with the theft of source code for the online game Half-Life 2 to this illegally selling game codes from Zhengtu Online, many similar cases happened in recently years.
