The fall and winter seasons are a wonderful time of year for gamers. New games a plenty around the holiday season. As soon as the last Oblivion Gate was closed, General Raam was terrorizing the planet. Ares crumbles in defeat just in time for Ratchet to accumulate a few more weapons. Princesses are always in need of rescuing. Every time a villain is defeated they come back stronger or are replaced by someone even more wicked. It never ends. Game companies are continually pushing the envelope and bringing fresh spins on old concepts. Whatever your preference, there will always be a game on the horizon that will make your wallet a little lighter.

These are not the only reasons we play, but they encompass many of the things we love about the games we enjoy. Gamers understand while others may be lost forever. In the grand scheme of things, it does not make a difference because the gaming community is thriving and will continue to do so as long as there are those that are passionate about games.
