The Singapore launch of the Hellgate: London box sets on 31 October has just been given a shot of star power with celebrity game developer brothers Erich & Max Schaefer coming to town for the exclusive sale of these box sets.

Hellgate: London game developers Erich and Max Schaefer of Diablo fame attend Launch

October 2007, Singapore. The Singapore launch of the Hellgate: London box sets on 31 October has just been given a shot of star power with celebrity game developer brothers Erich & Max Schaefer coming to town for the exclusive sale of these box sets.

Not only will Erich and Max be attending the official launch, they will also be on hand to autograph copies of Hellgate: London for the first 100 pieces purchased. The hotly-anticipated game will be launched at a special event at Funan Digitalife Mall, aptly enough, on Halloween. 

The Schaefer brothers are veterans and celebrities in the gaming world, famed for their highly successful Diablo series of games. Erich Schaefer who is currently Chief Creative Officer at Flagship Studios was previous Project Lead, Design Lead and Art Director on Diablo and Diablo 2. He was also the sole environment artist on the original Diablo as well as interface artist for both games. His brother Max Schaefer is Chief Operating Officer at Flagship Studios and contributed to the art design on the original Diablo while simultaneously working on another title. He took over the responsibilities as Project, Design and Environment Art Director on Diablo 2 and was Executive Producer and key design influence on Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction expansion pack.
