GetAmped, the 3D
online casual fighting game that made waves in Asia, is finally here in the
Philippines.
Developed by CyberStep, Inc. in Japan in 2001, the fun and comical GetAmped
is now locally published by Amped Games and will officially start its Closed
Beta stage on September 28. Amped Games also brought online games such as Tantra, the
full 3D Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game, and WarRock, the
country´s premier online First Person Shooting game.
Get creative with GetAmped´ s Features
GetAmped is more
than a fighting game as it gives players several options to be creative with
their characters, which is simply not offered in other casual fighting games.
With GetAmped, the players will get to experience more than the usual gaming
routine. It allows players to create the most original characters by combining
Styles, Avatars, Accessories/Gears and Equipments.
Choose the character gender, race and fighting styles in Styles. Purchase
parts such as the hair, eyes, mouth, and clothes in Avatar. Gears will yield
additional special abilities for the character´ s fighting style, while the
weapons can be purchased in Equipments.
One of the most exciting parts of character creation is using GetAmped´ s
unique Skin Edit Tool, which allows the user to coordinate limitless character
patterns. Tweak the character to make it look like a movie or a cartoon hero.
Lengthen its ears, add fangs, put freckles on the face will of these are
possible with GetAmped´ s Skin Edit Tool.
In the Closed Beta stage of GetAmped, there will be an initial release of 15
Gears or Accessories for gamers to toy with. Among these Gears are the
Rollerblade for all styles, which has a lethal dance-hop in the air technique;
the Flame Arm Ring for the Fighters, which can harness the power of fire for the
powerful firefist explosive capability; and the Boxing Glove to raise the
fighting capability of the Fighter, Military, Armor and Space Police characters.
A maximum of eight users can be in a game room at the same time to play
GetAmped´ s several game modes. During the Closed Beta phase, players can shoot
basketball and kick soccer balls in Amped Sportsmatch, fight to death in
Deathmatch or defeat as many opponents as possible in Dogfight.

Amped Games expects GetAmped´ s vivid environment, simple keyboard controls
and intuitive features to appeal to the younger generation of gamers. GetAmped
