Dear Pirate King Online players, we will be organising a Comics Strip contest to allow players to show off their creativity, talents and sense of humor.

Players will stand a chance to win amazing ingame prizes such as the new Lv 75 Death set and Death Scythe!

Show us what have you got now! Players can make use of image editing program as well! Please do not forget to make it as interesting and funny as possible because all these count in our selection!

How to participate
1. You must first register for an forum account with us here.
2. Start a new topic in the [Comics Contest] section of the official forum. Place the word "[Contest]" at the end of your topic title (so that we will know the comics strip image attached is for the contest)

General Rules
1. No copyrighted images.
2. No rude or vulgar images to be manipulated onto the image.
3. Comics strip can range from 3 to 5 panels each.
4. Participants are allowed to submit multiple entries on a single thread.(Multiple thread will be considered spam and will be disqualified)
5. Each participant will have their best entries selected by us as main entry.
6. Images must be Pirate King Online themed.
7. Images must be in JPG or GIF formats.
8. Any image which cannot be displayed on the final day will be voided.
9. PKO management reserves the right to use and/or censor the contest entries.
10. Credibility of the entries will be the sole responsiblity of the entrants.
11. Winners be will selected by PKO management.
12. Judges? decision is final.

Instructions for Submitting
1. All entries can only consist of images from Pirate King Online.
2. The contest will begin on 23th August 2007 0000 hrs GMT+8.
3. The deadline for submitting is 24th September 2007 2359 GMT+8.
4. The winner list will be announced on 27th September 2007 and contacted via email.

Scoring System
Originality - 50%
Creativity  - 30%
Relevance   - 10%
Popularity  - 10%

Originality - A major criterion with be the originality of the strip. It should be based on a "good idea". A comics strip that is simply a new version of a well known comics strip is not acceptable. Equally, your comics strip should not simply be a copy of an existing commercial strip.
Creativity  - Marks will be awarded for creativity in the design. That is, refering to the approach used, program etc.
Relevance   - How well your comics strip fits in with the theme of Pirate King Online will be taken into account.
Popularity  - This is bonus points awarded by each judge depending on how well each like your comics strip.
