FishingChamp announced today that Open Beta will be held until 8.23.07. Players will be able to play FishingChamp uninterrupted the entire time during the open beta session.

San Jose, CA August 21st, 2006. FishingChamp announced today that Open Beta will be held until 8.23.07.  Players will be able to play FishingChamp uninterrupted the entire time during the open beta session.

"Our players have been very understanding while we made improvements to the game", said Mike Min, PM of FishingChamp. 

A special event has been set-up for players that play the game during this period.  Any player who catches a fish that is at least 40 centimeters long will receive an exclusive FishingChamp Bass stress reliever. This unique item is great at the office, school or at home. Players on all maps qualify to participate in this event.

"Life is stressful. We thought it would be a nice way give our gamers an outlet when they are not playing FishingChamp", said Chris Keswani, Marketing Manager of OnNet USA.
