Acclaim is looking for a Network & Server Guru to help run the game server farms.

This is Los Angeles based position. Acclaim will not assist in relocation.

Seeking systems administrators with 2 to3 years of professional experience. This is a unique opportunity to get on board with a young Company that is growing and looking for talented systems administrators that are interested in growing with the company.

Responsibilities:
Accountable for recommending, developing, testing, implementing, supporting, securing and monitoring all administrative functions necessary of the efficient operation of enterprise servers. Works with servers performing tasks such as monitoring server backups and restores, security, maintaining the necessary accounts for users and setting up and or new server environments. Able to interface with third party vendors for supported applications. Provides second-level support to the Operations staff and Help Desk to resolve user issues. Must work effectively in a team setting, able to mentor junior members or cross train various discipline.

Requirements:
* College degree in computer science or related field required.
* MCSE, CNE, RHSE, or ACE certification prefered.
* 2 to 3 years experience with Microsoft servers and Linux Networks in a business environment required.
* Working knowledge of network equipment, configurations and software to include: backup, restores, routers, bridges, network management applications, utilities, LAN analyzers, raid disks, virus protection software and servers.
* Ability to diagnose system faults on servers.
