Our member flamedust revealed news that a level 107(which is techinically impossible to get since the Open Beta has just started for 4 days.) cheater in 2Moons was banned. He also revealed the cheaters owner may be a friend of Acclaims CEO.

A level 107(which is techinically impossible to get since the Open Beta has just started for 4 days.) cheater, who is a friend of Acclaims CEO has been just BANNED!!.

This player started a guild and powerlvled the whole guild, gave the guild members weapons and money. Im guessing Acclaim built that character for collecting data or testing bugs, but that guy just abused it and brought Acclaim into disrepute. A player discovered this issue and posted it on the official forum. That post got an bad repercussion and got quickly replied into 8 pages, some players even claimed that they were going to  leave that game due to this.  Yeah, how could we struggle in a game which lets cheated noobs PK you? . GMs and VGMs also appeared in the thread but they said they couldnt do nothing to a CEOs friend . ROFL!!!

I am not saying they have power. They just need to clarify the situation. In IRC chat we were told by the VGMs that the boosted player would NOT be leveing other people / whould not sell or trade items to normal people and that he would not join a guild. All I am requesting is clarification on the matter.

Many people play games like this to have a fair challenge and if a player is gettign an unfair boost which the GMs are not prepared to deal with I assure you that many like me would simply go find another game.

But i have no problems with that lvl 100+ guy but he is power leveling people that i can not accept if they allow that im out of here.
Its just to unfair that guild will own because of this one guy please do something about this or meny will quit.

The GMs do not have power over the CEO of Acclaim. Believe it or not, it is the other way around.

You guys need to remember that cheaters have a first mover advantage. The things that we do have to be in reaction what is happening, so yes, there will be certain incidents that happen that may make you wonder what we are doing.

However, I would just like to back up Carbonite in saying that the GMs are currently working on a more permanent solution to the gold farmers. In addition, we take cheaters/hackers very seriously.

The thread finally got delected for some reason . However Acclaim made a appropriate and rapid action of this, they just banned  that account along with everyone who was benefited from him when they found out this WOOT!!!

 Here is the quote from the official GM Hilramorres announcement:

2Moons is such a good game that I cant leave it for anything, now that Acclaim did the right thing my respect for them has just leveled!!
