The episode of South Park that showed the familiar potty-mouthed children becoming hopelessly addicted to World of Warcraft has been nominated for an Emmy.

It will be the sixth time the rude and satirical cartoon has been in line for "the television equivalent of the Oscars", giving it a chance at its second win - the first was in 2004 for the "Best Friends Forever" episode revolving around Kenny and his PlayStation Portable powers.

Games have been the inspiration for numerous episodes of South Park, including the Emmy-nominated parody of Pok¨Śmon, "Chinpoko Mon", and the two-parter based around Cartmans impatient wait for a Nintendo Wii, "Go God Go".

The "Make Love, Not Warcraft" episode featured Cartman defecating at his computer chair into a bed-pan held by his mum as the quartet battle tirelessly to prevent the end of the World of Warcraft.
