Maplers in Singapore and Malaysia bring online bonds with friends and loved ones to life in celebration of special game anniversary.

June 25, 2007, Singapore/Malaysia ¨C Over 17,000 fans of MapleSEA had a bash at the "2 Cool To Be True" 2nd Anniversary Celebrations. Held simultaneously in Suntec City in Singapore and Cineleisure Damansara in Malaysia, fans gathered for a rollicking good time and relived their virtual experiences with friends and family from 22nd to 24th June.

Fans of the popular Free-To-Play Online game, MapleSEA, experienced the magical fantasy as the game was brought to life. Familiar scenes, game based activities and quests were recreated,as friends and families transformed digital experiences into fond shared memories. Highlights of the 3 day event included several carnival games, based on popular quests in the game. Players who participated were rewarded with "Meso Tokens", which could be used to redeem a host of MapleStory merchandise! A special player-designed cake was also presented during the symbolic ceremony and shared with participants.

This event, held in both Singapore and Malaysia was our way of thanking players for the support these past 2 years."

Special guests were also on hand to share their well-wishes. Players in Singapore had the opportunity to interact with key executives from both NEXON and AsiaSoft. Mr Kang Shin Chul, Joint CEO, NEXON Corporation graced the occasion, penning a commemorative birthday wish and autographing premiums. In Malaysia, the winner of the cake-design competition, 13 year old,
Liew Jean Wen, was the star of the moment as her cake design was transformed into the delight of the day!

"We are very excited to mark this special celebration with our beloved Maplers with whom we are now celebrating MapleSEAs 2nd year," said Mr Kang. "We are delighted that MapleSEA has become a game that players, their friends and their families can all enjoy together and we hope that the ¡®2 Cool To Be True event is an experience they can all share as well."

The event also promises exciting new things for MapleSEA with the announcement of several new content features. First up will be the introduction of a "Singapore Map", expected to be ready early in Q3. This exclusive content will only be available to MapleSEA players and will provide more fond memories with familiar locations and special quests.

Up next in Q4 are highly anticipated updates, including a brand new boss, tougher and more rewarding than Zakum and the 4th job advancement! These high-end content will enable players to better develop their characters and pit their brand news skills in more challenges! The three-day fiesta ended with the exciting final lucky draw, where attractive prizes such as Starhub modems, cuddly MapleStory plushies and a very exclusive MapleSEA-themed mp4 player were given away to our lucky participants.
