OFFICIAL RULES

• PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. Promotion begins at 12:00 a.m. (PT) on May 17, 2007 and ends at 11:59 p.m. (ET) on July 17, 2007 ("Promotional Period"). Prizes will be awarded in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received.
   
• HOW TO ENTER: Complete and submit electronically the entry form located online at http://www.guildwars.com/sweepstakes. Entrants must complete all required information on the online entry form to be eligible. Limit one (1) entry per person. Multiple entries submitted by a single entrant in excess of the entry limit are void. Incomplete, illegible, and inaccurate entries are void. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Releasees (as defined below) assume no responsibility for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, inaccurate, misdirected, mutilated, stolen, delayed, undelivered, ineligible or postage due entries, e-mail, mail or for any error or malfunction that may occur, whether computer, technical, typographical, mechanical, human or otherwise, relating to or in connection with this promotion, including, without limitation, errors which may occur in connection with the administration of this promotion, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prizes or in any promotion-related materials. Sponsor automatically collects personal information from you when you enter this sweepstakes. The information is subject to the ArenaNet privacy policy of the site through which you enter the sweepstakes.
   
• WINNER SELECTION: Winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. The drawing will be conducted on or about July 20, 2007 under the supervision of an independent judging organization whose decisions are final on matters relating to this sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
   
• PRIZES: One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded: A complete Alienware Area-51® computer system, including a 20" Widescreen Flat Panel Monitor and a developer signed copy of Guild Wars: Eye of the North. Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of Grand Prize: ?3,164.00. Five (5) First Prizes: An ATI Direct X 10 video card and a developer signed copy of Guild Wars: Eye of the North. ARV of First Prize: ?490. Five (5) Second Prizes: A set of Logitech X-540 Speakers, a Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard, a Logitech G5 Laser Mouse and a developer signed copy of Guild Wars: Eye of the North. ARV of Second Prize: ?300.00. Five (5) Third Prizes: A Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer sound card and a developer signed copy of Guild Wars: Eye of the North. ARV of Third Prize: ?140.00. Ten (10) Fourth Prizes: A developer signed copy of Guild Wars: Eye of the North. ARV of Fourth Prize: ?40.00. Total ARV of all prizes: ?8,214. Prize values are in U.S. Dollars. Any expenses not explicitly listed herein, including any applicable tax on the prize is the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitution, barter, transfer, or assignment of prize permitted, except by Sponsor at its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value if entire prize or a portion of a prize is unavailable. Prize not redeemable for cash. Prize will be awarded by e-mail, overnight delivery service and/or U.S. mail. Specifics of prize package are subject to availability and Sponsor?s sole discretion.
   
• ELIGIBILITY: This sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia and Canada, 13 years of age or older at the time of entry. Void in Guam, Puerto Rico, U.S. territories, military installations and commonwealths, the Province of Quebec and where prohibited by law. Employees of ArenaNet, Inc., and anyone working on the product, project or promotion, their respective parents companies, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies and the immediate family members (parents, spouse, siblings, children) or anyone who lives in the same household of each (whether related or not) are not eligible. Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this promotion.
   
• GENERAL CONDITIONS: The laws of the United States and Canada govern this sweepstakes. All federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations apply. Participation constitutes your full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and independent judging organization, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein in a timely manner. Winners (and/or your parent or legal guardian) may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release and where legal, Publicity Release within 14 days following the date of issuance of notification. Non-compliance within this time period or return of any notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification. Canadian entrants selected in any drawing will be required to correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by mail or by telephone*. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and its designees to use winner?s name, voice, picture and other likeness for advertising, promotional and other purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law. No more than the quantity of prizes listed in these rules will be awarded. By entering this promotion, participants waive all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages, or attorneys? fees and agrees to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, distributors, agencies, suppliers and advertising, promotional and judging organizations and each of their respective employees, officers, directors, shareholders and agents (collectively, the "Releasees") from and against any and all claims, actions, and/or liability for any loss, injuries and/or damages (including, without limitation, any death or disability) sustained in connection with use of a prize or related to participation in this promotion. Participants further agree that in any cause of action, Releasees? liability will be limited to the cost of participating in this promotion, and in no event shall Releasees be liable for attorney?s fees. Except where prohibited, participants agree that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this promotion or any prize awarded shall be resolved under the laws of the State of Washington, without respect to any conflict of law issues, and each participant agrees that such shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the U.S. Federal and State Courts of King County, Washington, U.S.A. You assume sole liability for injuries, including personal injuries and/or damage to property or prize, caused or claimed to be caused by participating in this promotion or the acceptance, loss, shipment, or use of any prize awarded. Sponsor is not responsible for any failure to contact entrants, whether due to technical or human error.
   
• INTERNET: Sponsor is not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this game or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this promotion. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, can disqualify, from this sweepstakes and any other sweepstakes conducted by Sponsor, any person who, in Sponsor?s reasonable suspicion, tampers with the entry process or the operation of the web site, or who otherwise violates these rules. Sponsor has the right to cancel, terminate, suspend or modify this contest, in whole or in part, at any time and without prior notice, if, in Sponsor?s judgment, the sweepstakes is altered, corrupted or cannot be completed as planned due to computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, technical failures, or other conditions beyond Sponsor?s control. Use of automated entry devices or programs is prohibited. Use of a false email account will disqualify an entry and the individual who submitted the entry In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner based on an e-mail address, the winning entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
   
• WINNER?S LIST: To receive the names of the winners by U.S. mail after August 17, 2007, please mail a self addressed stamped envelope to: Return to Tyria Sweepstakes Winners, P.O. Box 701, Sayreville, NJ 08871-0701. Requests received after September 17, 2007 will be disregarded. Residents of Canada may omit return postage.
