After the five year
service of Final Fantasy XI, SquareEinx surprisingly announced the New
expansion of FFXI today at the Pre-Conference Meeting of Square Enix Party
2007.
SE has only announced the Japanese name Arutana No
Kamihei, English translation of the name could be Altana?s God Weapon or
Altana?s God Warrior, it can?t be determined yet because of the cultural
background. The background story of the new expansion disc is about the past of
Vana diel, and the world map will be expanded to the north.
The release date will be
winter 2007, hopefully SE will release more info and screenshots during
Square Enix Party 2007 section. SE has also announced two new games, thus
THE LAST REMNANT and one of the Star Ocean series.
