Matt Mihaly, Iron Realms CEO released a statement that Earth Eternal have to delay its publish date, and the open beta will start before the end of 2007.

Yes, Im afraid its true. Like basically every other MMO in existence were going to have to push back our release date. We were aiming for late summer (early September) but were not going to make it unfortunately.

Were not announcing a new open beta date except to say that we expect it to be before the end of 2007.

Sorry about this guys but no matter how well you plan unexpected things come up and frankly, weve upped our expectations over time. Its already looking a lot better than we anticipated being able to pull off but this comes with extra demands on our time, which is stretched to the limit (Often working until 1 or 2 in the morning or even later, and we have a meeting every morning at 10 am to kick the work day off).

In any case, things are coming along very well but theres just soo...much...work, and some things (things we didnt know the solution for ahead of time mainly) have taken longer than we initially planned for.
