San Jose, CA April 11, 2007 – OnNet USA today announced the beginning of the Greenman
s Charity Tournament, which is being held online in the golf game, Shot-Online. This online annual memorial event is being held to remember a Shot-Online player who passed away from ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig
s disease). The player had created the in-game character named Greenman.
The memorial event will run from 4/10 until 4/21 on the Alfheim course. OnNet USA will make a donation for any player who completes the entire course (18 holes). Players of any skill level are able to join this tournament. The in-game fee, also known as NG, will be waived for players who play on this course during this period. All Shot-Online players are invited to take part in this event and encouraged to tell their friends and family about this memorial event.
"Greenman was well-liked by Shot-Online players and we wanted to create a memorial event that would remember him as well as raise awareness about ALS", said Chris Yamauchi, PM of Shot-Online.
