MMOSITE.COM: How s your GDC trip? We got that you focused most of your efforts on the career pavilion, hiring for your studios, so any surprise from this conference?

Joe: To tell you the truth, I didn t see much at GDC except for the inside of a conference room where I was meeting with the press each day. It s always nice to get out to San Francisco, however. I m always surprised when I see how much GDC has grown. There are so many things to see at the show that it is almost impossible to get to them all.

MMOSITE.COM: Would you like to tell us something about your team, what kind of roles are you looking to fill?

Joe: We re always looking for talented artists, programmers and engineers. At GDC we were focusing on hiring for some of Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment sother projects, Handcranked Games and Superstition Studios, but that s about all I can say about those studios at this time.

MMOSITE.COM: What are the different things that your Studios looks for in a potential employee?

Joe: We are looking for quality people. As long as you hire high-quality people, you create a solid foundation for building your company. I personally hired a man for a position that in the end, he wasn t suited for. But he is a talented individual, and once we found the right position that matched his talents, we had a win-win situation for him and the company.
