Forums offline on Monday and Tuesday, 2nd/3rd April
Next Monday and Tuesday, 2nd and 3rd April, we will be moving the forum servers to new hardware in a new data centre. This move will bring a great improvement to the user experience with our community and game forums.
The forums will be brought down on Monday morning BST (GMT +1). The upgrade will take a few hours and then depending where you are in the world, it could take up to 24-48 hours for you to have access to the forums on the new hardware. This is due to the community.codemasters.com web address propagating across the globe and will mean that some users will have access to the new forums sooner than others.
We anticipate that the entire Codemasters forums will be fully back online by Wednesday morning. All of the posts, users and avatars made up until the move will persist and be brought over to the new servers.
We apologise for the disruption to your forum service however hope that you understand that this short downtime is the latest step in our efforts to enhance your experience with all of our systems and services. Thank you for your patience.

Am nächsten Montag und Dienstag, den 2. und 3. April 2007, werden wir die Foren-Server auf neue Hardware in einem neuen Datenzentrum verlagern. Diese Verschiebung wird sich positiv auf die Nutzung unsere Community- und Spielforen auswirken.
Die Foren werden am Montag morgen (GMT+2) heruntergefahren. Die Aktualisierung wird einige Stunden in Anspruch nehmen, und je nachdem, wo auf der Welt ihr euch befindet, wird es 24 bis 48 Stunden dauern, bis ihr die Foren auf der neuen Hardware wieder erreichen könnt. Dies kommt daher, dass die IP-Zuweisung der Adresse community.codemasters.com-Website erst ¨¹ber die Router weltweit verbreitet werden muss, wodurch einige Nutzer sich fr¨¹her als andere wieder einloggen können.
Wir gehen davon aus, dass die Codemaster-Foren am Mittwoch morgen wieder vollständig online sind. Alle Posts, Nutzernamen und Avatare werden selbstverständlich erhalten bleiben und auch von den neuen Servern ¨¹bernommen werden.
