February 2, 2007 - The hot trend in gaming is Massively Multiplayer Online games. SouthPeak Games is hopping on the bandwagon, turning Two Worlds into an MMORPG for PC. The Xbox 360 version remains a more intimate experience, eschewing the "massive" descriptor for its multiplayer experience. When last we saw Two Worlds, it supported just eight players online. Now it will support thousands on PC.
"Reality Pump was in the fortunate position of being both ahead of schedule and given some extra development time, so they could truly bring out the full potential of Two Worlds," said Katie Morgan, Executive Vice President of SouthPeak Games. As with the single-player campaign, actions in the online arena alter the world the character?s live in. Gamers can now compete online against others in combat, assist friends in completing quests and even form armies to storm enemy cities.
Two Worlds is set to ship this spring.
