Nov. 20th, 2006 local date, armed with a hand gun and wired with explosives, an 18-year-old German former student of the Geschwister School in Emsdetten stormed onto the campus and crazily fired shots at students and teachers and set off smoke bombs, resulting 27 injuries, two of whom reported serious wounded.
The student was lying dead when the police found him. The gunman was described as a CS addict. Witnesses said, he wore black uniform similar to CS costume.
According to police investigation, the attacker was described as a lonely student, and he left a note on an internet site. He said he had decided to take revenge and "disappear from this life."
"This revenge will be carried out so brutally and without quarter, that the blood will freeze in your veins," he wrote.
Is violence in games related to this gunman’s twisted personality, and one of the reasons resulting in this brutal accident? Do you think violence in current games is too excessive? Leave your comments here! What I wanna say is gaming is just a kind of entertainment, do not let it ruin or control your life. That?s all.
