Mythic Entertainment released a note for Dark Age Of Camelot?s new expansion Labyrinth of the Minotaur that give some advices about how to enter the new game world.
Our good friend Spyke (that?s actually his real name, not a clever nickname), has made things a bit easier this year for our beta testers to convert their test files to live. If you?re currently in beta, check this out.
To update the beta so that it can access Labyrinth live tomorrow you simply need to patch your Labyrinth beta version anytime after about 10am eastern this morning (so basically any time now). It will patch/update the live client and associated files.
Once this is done, go into your Labyrinth of the Minotaur directory and launch camelot.exe. That will start the live version patch process (which you will note is currently ¡°down for maintenance since it isn¡¯t live yet). You can make a shortcut of that camelot.exe on your desktop for ease of future use.
Note, this doesn¡¯t give beta users any sort of ¡°backdoor¡± access to Labyrinth once it goes live, it simply updates their files so they can get to the live version without having to download all of the files all over again. In other words, this will give you access to the files, but you must still pay the expansion fee in order to have your account flagged for Labyrinth.
