K2 Network announced their Knight Online will expand a new world called "Logos" soon.

IRVINE, Calif. - October 25, 2006 - Players within the exciting fantasy world known as Knight Online will soon be able to explore new ground! Knight Online World, a medieval fantasy MMORPG from K2 Network, will launch the 10th and newest in-game world called "Logos" within the next couple weeks due to popular demand of the growing community. This new set of game servers will enable Knight Online?s more than 3 million player-base to further expand, allowing users to experience a new gaming environment with noticeably less lag.

The world of Logos will launch with 2 servers that will have the capacity to hold thousands of new players, with additional servers being added as needed. Logos will be the first world released since the Reign of the Fire Drake expansion, which was launched August 2006.

This will be the perfect time to join in the fun for new and experienced Players, as Logos will offer the same, well-received amenities of the Reign of the Fire Drake expansion, such as a level cap increase from 70-80, new armor, skills, monsters and vast new territories to explore.

To celebrate the 10th world creation, the official Knight Online Web site has been revamped with a brand new look and includes a new community page, where player-created movies, screenshots and fan art will be selected to gain official recognition. For the competitive players, PvP rankings will also be documented on the site where the top 100 players from each world will be displayed for glory.

A shoot-em-up mini game will also be implemented with the new website to commemorate the new world. Players will be awarded daily with Logitech and Knight Online prizes that do well in the challenging timed rounds.

The new world of Logos will still comply with Knight Online?s universal Free2Play gaming strategy. K2 Network?s unique Free2Play model allows players to have full access to the game free of charge. Players craving an even more enhanced experience can subscribe to premium memberships that provide access to enhanced play including increases in earning experience and items, reduced experience loss upon death, 50 percent discount on item repair fees, and more.
