According to the Cnet, the virtual world of Second Life has 1 million civilians on Wednesday Oct 18, 2006, that the game was launched in 2003.
However, the number of the Second Life users is suspected, any guy can be a member of Second Life for free. Only 405,931 users have been active within the last 60 days. But even that number can be misleading as that includes anyone who opened an account within 60 days, many of whom presumably leave and never come back.
Any way, Second Life set a milestone in the game history, we look forward they reaching the next million.
