As soon as Module 3: Demon Sands launches players will have the option to revise their feat choices. You will be allowed to swap one feat every three real-time days and there will be a cost for each feat that you choose to respec. That cost is determined by your level as follows:
Level 1: 100gp and a Flawed Siberys Dragonshard
Level 2: 750gp and a Flawed Siberys Dragonshard
Level 3: 3,000gp and a Flawed Siberys Dragonshard
Level 4: 6,500gp and a Flawed Siberys Dragonshard
Level 5: 12,500gp and an Imperfect Siberys Dragonshard
Level 6: 20,000gp and an Imperfect Siberys Dragonshard
Level 7: 35,000gp and an Imperfect Siberys Dragonshard
Level 8: 50,000gp and an Imperfect Siberys Dragonshard
Level 9: 75,000gp and a Siberys Dragonshard
Level 10: 100,000gp and a Siberys Dragonshard
Level 11: 100,000gp and a Siberys Dragonshard
Level 12: 100,000gp and a Siberys Dragonshard
What does that stuff at the top of the feat respec dialog box mean? (See below for a screenshot)
The text at the top of the feat respec box indicates what class and level you were when you took the feat that you?ve placed in the "Old Feat" slot. So if it says:
Class: Fighter
Level: Fighter 10
Character Level: 10
That means that you choose the feat when you were leveling up to fighter level / character level 10.
Can I use feat respec to create impossible characters?
When choosing a new feat, you will be able to choose any feats that you meet the prerequisites for. However, feat respec will make sure that do not choose a "normal" feat when you can only choose a class feat or a favored enemy.
What feats can I exchange?
You can swap out any feat that you choose during character generation or through advancement unless the feat is a feat that can only be chosen during character generation (for example, Adamantine Body). If you have chosen a feat which is a pre-requisite for another feat, then you must exchange the top level feat before you may exchange the pre-requisite. For example, if you have both Dodge and Mobility (Dodge is a pre-requisite for Mobility) then you must exchange Mobility before you can exchange Dodge.
Can Rangers exchange their favored enemies?
Yes, Rangers can exchange a chosen favored enemy for a different favored enemy.
If I?m a fighter and I take Two-Weapon Fighting and then take two levels of Ranger and get TWF for free, will I then be able to respec out of my Two-Weapon Fighting feat?
Yes, you will be able to exchange the Two-Weapon Fighting feat that you took as a fighter and will keep the TWF feat you received as the ranger.
If I take toughness multiple times, can I exchange one of them for another feat?
Yes, for prerequisite purposes, you will exchange the one you took at the lower level first. | | |
