Carpe Diem announced the game will use a different subscription way which allows players to select the best monthly subscription in accordance with your playing time.

Currently, there are two major ways of paying for your MMO.  You either pay a monthly subscription, or you enter the game for free and buy items.  Some games add lots of adverts to the second option and offer a restricted game experience.

We have always been gamers and personally we like as much choice as possible.  So we¡¯re offering a third way to do it, and that is to pay for as much as you play.  Here at Persistent Worlds we¡¯re now working with a leading payment provider to make that possible.

Here are the details 

	?2 a week for 5 hours play and the holding of the character
USA Player	20 cents for every subsequent hour above the weekly allowance
	Maximum charge in any week of ?5.00

     

	1.5 Euros for 5 hours play and the holding of the character
European Player	15 cents for every subsequent hour above the weekly allowance
	Maximum charge in any week of 4.5 Euros

European players have to pay VAT due to European legislation (sorry!)
We will be offering a UK£ pricing option for UK players as well.

Why does it matter?
Everybody¡¯s different. Some people play all day, and some can only fit their game in around the rest of their life.  These people should welcome the chance to just pay as they play the game.  We worked out that if you play less than 12 hours a week you would be better off paying weekly.
