Sony Online Entertainment put its eyes on the new territories such as Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). SOE selceted Koch Media as the cooperator to publish the MMORPG EverQuest II and the back catalogue of expansion packs for the game, plus forthcoming title Vanguard: Saga of Heroes.
Koch MD Craig McNicol said "Our cooperation with Sony Online Entertainment began some months ago with Planetside Invasion. We managed to affirm the trust placed in us, and we are now proud of the opportunity to market Everquest 2 and Vanguard for Sony Online Entertainment. We firmly believe in the future of the MMO genre."
SOE?s Laura Naviaux described Koch as a "triple-A retail partner", adding, "It has the experience with major PC game brands like Everquest II and understands the unique nature of MMOs."
