Organizers of the upcoming London Games Festival have announced the list of guests who will be features as part of the inaugural Lizards’ Lair on October 3, which invites attendees to submit game ideas to a panel of industry professionals.

The confirmed “lizards” are Lionhead founder Peter Molyneux, Sports Interactive?s studio director Miles Jacobson, and Eidos? creative director Ian Livingstone. The single-day event will allow attendees, in the style of the BBC?s entrepreneurial investment reality show Dragons? Den, to pitch their game concepts to the professionals, and potentially win prizes including one weeks work experience or possibly the chance to see their game ideas developed.

The event will be chaired by Paul Durrant, director of UK-based game development competition, Dare to be Digital, and will be held at Visit London’s headquarters. Those interested can register their concept at the event?s official website until September 18.

The Lizards’ Lair is just one part of the London Games Festival, a week-long celebration that begins October 2, and combines key public and industry events throughout the capital. Other scheduled events include the London Games Summit presented by ELSPA and TIGA and programmed by the CMP Game Group, the London Content, Outsourcing and Middleware Market presented by TIGA, and BAFTA?s British Academy Video Games Awards. In addition, Gamasutra.com, GamesIndustry.biz and Eurogamer.net will present the London Game Career Fair on October 3-4, and the CMP Game Group-organized event, GDC London.
