The Auto Assault team has teamed up with 1UP this week to give away 14-day trials and give players a chance to beat down 1UP editors James Mielke and Scott Sharkey in a tournament.

The below are some info about this tournament:

1UP.com is hosting an Auto Assault® Week, starting September 12th. Join the hardcore party, prove you’ve got what it takes to sit behind the wheel, and make a play to win some free stuff!

9/12 — 1UP Scavenger Hunt - Every person that enters the initial starter highways from 9/12 to 9/15 will get a special 1UP Scavenger Hunt mission. Complete the mission and get a 1UP branded medal.

9/15 — 1UP Meet & Greet - Starting at 5PM CDT (10PM GMT), 1UP?s Scott Sharkey and James Mielke will be road tripping through the wasteland giving out items.

9/16 — 1UP Tournament – 1UP is hosting a major tournament in Auto Assault®?s in-game arenas, for players levels 10-15, starting at 6PM CDT (11PM GMT). Everyone who participates will receive an awesome 1UP branded ornament (to be awarded later).

The first rounds are a qualifying tournament where players beat down each other for the chance to pwn those evil 1UP editors, Mielke and Sharkey.

The winners of the qualifying tournament will then enter the arena and square off against Mielke and Sharkey for the Grand Prize - a special, limited edition 1UP branded vehicle chassis. And, of course, major bragging rights.
