Careers---Gobline Shaman
Shaman Specialty
Greenskins live for battle, and fighting provides the strange and twisted power that fuels their magic. By participating in battle ¨C calling down the wrath of Gork and Mork, or just being up in the fight with the lads ¨C the Shaman taps into the collective frenzy to gain Waaagh! power. This gathered Waaagh! energy drives the strength of his supporting magic to new heights. With Waaagh! power blazing in his eyes, his spells can heal more wounds or empower his allies to achieve feats of unbelievable destruction.
Playing as a Shaman
As a Shaman, you¡¯ll have to walk a careful line in balancing your offensive and support abilities. You can achieve the greatest rate of healing by focusing on that skill exclusively. You can maximize your rate of damage by focusing purely on those abilities. However, focusing on a single talent will lessen your overall impact on the battle. The strength your support skills gain from an ongoing Waaagh! is significant. Using your offensive magic to contribute directly to the fight will increase the power of your support magic, allowing you to better help your group.
Fighting the Shaman
With the Shaman¡¯s power to support and enhance his allies, he is at his strongest when he fights with a team. With this in mind, you¡¯d be advised to take the earliest opportunity to eliminate him ¨C an opportunity his group mates will do their best to deny you. In each fight you must carefully weigh the opposition, and determine the best time to strike at the Shaman. Attack too early and you risk facing deadly reprisals from the Shaman¡¯s uninjured allies. Attack too late and you may lack the power to overcome the groups Waaagh! enhanced defenses.
Careers---Dwarf Hammerer
Hammerer Specialty
The Hammerer is aptly named on account of his owning a very, very big hammer. While some will tell you that it¡¯s size that matters, any Dwarf will tell you it¡¯s how you swing it that really counts. When a Hammerer gets going there just no stopping him, and the longer the fight lasts the stronger and faster he becomes. Momentum builds as the Hammerer attacks, and as it accumulates he can strike stronger and stronger blows. However, his most powerful blows can start to slow him down, reducing his momentum upon impact. For the Hammer, the devastating power of these blows makes this loss of momentum a price worth paying. As long as there are more foes to fight, he can begin to build up his momentum again.
Playing as a Hammerer
As a Hammerer your job is relatively simple: Hit things hard! Your strength will grow the longer the fight runs, so your best tactics put you in battle quickly and focus on dropping a single foe. However, it¡¯s important that you plan ahead within the fight. When your enemy falls to your hammer you must keep your momentum going or risk losing it. This means you must always be on the lookout for another target to engage even as you break out of your current fight. Playing a Hammerer is straight forward but challenging ¨C place the right blows at the right time on the right target and you will emerge victorious.
Fighting the Hammerer
A Hammerer can be a deadly and daunting foe, but as with any enemy he has his vulnerabilities. Being a Dwarf, he is tough and reasonably well armored. However, his primary concern is offense which presents you with the option of matching it with the same. Deploying a tank against him may also be a good choice, especially one whose specialization will help avoid the Hammerer¡¯s powerful but deliberate attacks. In either case, you must try to break the Hammerer¡¯s momentum through cleaver tactics and agile movement or he will tear your group members apart one after another.
