On August 8, 2006, Webzen announced that it is to undergo an overhaul of SUN, which will start from the middle of August and end before this month. The overhaul will include the following features:
To open ranking system which will be bound by rewards. And NPC will provide such info as "ranking in quest" when a party completes a quest.
To introduce PK system. Players will be able to restrict competition through setting competition times. At the same time, through re-challenge system, the player who receives improper PK can obtain a justifiable defense right.
To add new quests and exploration areas for high-level players. The primary mission Ice Palace will have two new quests and a new Ice Palace map will be unveiled.
