Time of Defiance 5.256.1 is now available from their downloads section or from the auto-update server.
Amongst many minor tweaks and twiddles, the main differences over the last release are:
- New section on unit finder - "Custom search" allows you to find:
- units based on minimum resource levels
- stalled construction
- stalled upgrades
- idle miners
- HQs now immediately request more moss from surrounding buildings after banking
- Rollover on unit messages produces location indicator on Empire View
- Q-Net indicator moved to ?action display? section of unit header
- Sending empire view markers produces confirmation dialogue
- Travelling salesman and miner messages now coloured for improved visibility
- Fixed text problem with major event tooltip
- Fix to withdrawing from the Eighth House Bank
- Codes for Unstable gates now available in gate-code popup
- Problem with traderoutes fixed
- Fixed problem with unit images in construction pane
- Considerable improvements to the high dynamic range lighting
- Improvements to the animation
- Improvements to the interactive tutorial
- Improvements to the start guide and frequently asked questions documents
