How long have you played Star Wars: Galaxies? 2 and a half years.

What other MMOs have you played? I played EverQuest 2 for a while but it can?t keep me away from Star Wars Galaxies.

What type of work do you do? IT Support.

How long is your typical gaming session when playing Star Wars: Galaxies? 3-5 Hours.

What does a typical Star Wars: Galaxies day consist of for you? I am the Co-Leader of my guild Safe Haven and the Mayor of our city called Safe Haven on Corellia. These duties involve me dealing with something going on in SWG or my guild several times a day, in game and outside of it. They can be time consuming, but I enjoy adding to the community and hopefully increasing the enjoyment of other players when they play.

When I login, the first hour or so is spent catching up with mail and sorting out anything guild or mayor-related. Once that is out of the way, I get into the two main things I enjoy most in game: questing with one of my five characters and planning events.

Since I became the mayor of Safe Haven about a year and half ago, something I try to do regularly is run an event every six weeks. This takes a lot of planning. I am grateful for the support I get from my guild for our private events and from the other players on Corbantis, when I run server-wide events. A special thanks to Pex as well, without whom I couldn?t run so many great events.

What was the race and profession of your very first character? Twi?lek.

What got you into gaming and what sort of games do you like the most? The first game that really got me addicted to spending too much time in front of a computer would have to be the great Command and Conquer series of games. I really enjoy strategy games and try to fit as many new ones in as I can-- when not playing SWG.

What other hobbies or activities do you take part in, other then playing Star Wars: Galaxies? I enjoy web design, video editing, reading crime novels, and going to the movies and theatre.

What is your highest level in Star Wars: Galaxies?   My highest level character is CJUK a Level 90 Elder Jedi. My Level 55 Officer, Romyta, is currently taking her first venture into combat after switching between the Entertainer and Crafting professions.

What race and profession is your main character? Twi?lek.

What do you like the most about the profession you have chosen for your main character? Romyta was always a crafter-- which was a great area of the game I always enjoyed. While we wait on the Crafting Revamp, I am taking her through the paces of the Officer profession; this is great fun so far with the Artillery Strikes and Grenades.

What faction is your main character? Rebel.

What is your favorite player owned ship? YT-1300.

What is your favorite ground vehicle? Jetpack.

How did you choose your main character?s name? Boring I know, but it was completely random.

Which professions in Star Wars: Galaxies have you NOT played? I have tried them all at some point on different characters.

What is your favorite expansion? Mustafar - Trials of Obiwan.

What is your favorite zone? Player Cities for the interaction with the community. For combat, it would have to be the Death Watch Bunker.

What is your favorite npc? HK-47.

Which expansion do you like the least? Jump To Lightspeed.

Which zone do you like the least? Space.

Which npc do you like the least? Sher Kar, mainly due to the fact that she still will not give me an Old Republic Schematic.

What is the most credits you have ever spent on purchasing a single item for one of your characters? 55 Million for a Warmly Glowing Engine Component.

Do you have an item you no longer use but keep around for nostalgic reasons? If so what is it and why do you keep it? My old doctor clothes with skill tapes are still around. Doctor was one of my first professions and I had a lot of fun, especially interacting with players when giving Doctor Buffs.

What do you like best about Star Wars: Galaxies? I like the community in SWG the best. I enjoy the game play as well--especially most of the quests-- but in my opinion, the community is best thing about the game.

What do you get out of playing Star Wars: Galaxies? I get a lot of enjoyment out of helping others in-game whether it?s helping them with quests, assisting them with resources, or planning an event people can attend. The main thing is the enjoyment of being part of a Star Wars environment that always has something new around the corner.

Describe your best experience from playing Star Wars: Galaxies? My best experience in the game would have to be when my good friend Trady and some others in my guild went with me to the Death Watch Bunker and Trady crafted me my first Jetpack. This was a long time ago and not only was it great fun getting it made, but it was special to have something that was, at the time, so rare and fun to use.
