Blizzard announced they would hold the first annual Blizzard Art Contest. Creative artists can take part in this concest with their works which contain the element from Blizzard?s titles.

Blizzard Entertainment is proud to announce the first annual Blizzard Art Contest! We?re looking for talented artists to create their favorite characters, monsters, or locations from the Warcraft, StarCraft, or Diablo universes in both 2D and 3D formats. We?ll be posting the winning submissions on our sites, and we?re also offering some really cool prizes.

Contest submissions will be accepted on this website until 11:59 PM PST September 17, 2006! Whether you are low- or high-poly, 2D or 3D, amateur or professional, this will be your chance to pour your creativity into the Blizzard universes: Diablo, StarCraft, and Warcraft.

Blizzard judges will award grand prizes to the top 3D computer graphic modelers or 2D concept artists in the following four categories:Best Diablo, Best Starcraft, Best Warcraft, Best Cinematic.
