Armada Online

Armada Online is a vast multiplayer universe packed with great gameplay. You take on the role of a starship captain and wage war against a biomechanical alien horde, known as the Armada.
AO mixes the smooth and satisfying feel of a space shooter with the long-term growth and exploration of an rpg, combined with the depth and intensity of an rts.
The alpha test starts in a few months. AO will ship for PC at the end of 2006. EvStream will have a few rounds of beta tests, so come visit Armada Online website if you want to join in.

About the develop team:

"EvStream is an independent game development studio. It has two members: Roger Fang and Mark Jordan. Armada Online is EvStream¡¯s first project.
We both have more than ten years experience in the games industry. After working for various companies, we realized that we needed to be independent in order to make the games we wanted to play.
Solid core gameplay is what matters most to us. We loved Armada and Star Command, and we were lucky to acquire them. We are hard at work building Armada Online for PC. Armada Online is the game of our dreams. "
