The developer wanted to blend the fast-paced fun factor of FPS/3PS shooter games with the comfortable similarity that gamers have come to know from popular MMORPG games. The game build a system that is incredibly simple, yet has layers of complexity that gamers will love.

The first thing to note is that the game will be playable in both standard first person shooter style mode and third person shooter style. Gamers will have a standard MMO style "macro" bar with abilities they have trained in loaded. However,unlike most MMO games ,Kaos War delivers realtime action allowing the player to direct his weapons or powers in combat.
